Fret Polishing System
You will be delighted with this effective polishing system.
The Rosette Fret Polishing System allows you to safely clean and dress your guitar frets using the efficient technology of3Mrm WetordryTM Polishing Paper. Combined with the Stainless Steel Fret Board Protector, you can be assured your fret job will look professional.
The Fret Board Protector will bend and adjust to your neck profile. Simply hold it in position as you dress the frets.
Depending on the condition of your frets, start with the 30 Micron (Green), or the 15 Micron (Grey). If your frets have visual scratches, start with the 30 fabric.
Just buff your fret back and forth a few times when using each grade. Going from coarse to fine, each step will get you to the polished mirror appearance when you are finished.
Tip > Cut a one inch strip from each color of 3M Polishing Fabric. This will allow you to maneuver the cloth more easily. The process will be less cumbersome! The Polishing Fabric is long lasting. Each one inch strip can do several guitars.
When the whole process is complete, use a micro-fiber or cotton cloth to clean the fret board. Take care to clean the area between the fret and fret board where the fret is mounted.
